Getting Ready for Video Calls with Securus (CDCR): A Checklist

Open Account

• ✓ Crea tu cuenta de Securus ahora (en el sitio web de Securus o en la app móvil de Securus) para que estés listo cuando las videollamadas y la mensajería electrónica de CDCR estén disponibles.
• ✓ Guarda tu información de acceso en un lugar donde puedas encontrarla rápidamente cuando sea hora de registrarte para los servicios de video.

1. Open the Securus app and tap AdvanceConnect. This is where you set up prepaid videoconference calling.
2. Set up your AdvanceConnect options. Follow the prompts in the app so your account is ready to be funded for video sessions.
3. Add funds to your account for prepaid video calls. Once funding is in place, you are set up for prepaid videoconference calls when they are available for your loved one.

Register Video

• ✓ In the Securus app, open Video Connect and complete the registration.
• ✓ During registration, select “Permitir videollamadas” (Allow video calls) so your account is enabled to receive videoconferences.

Securus Video Connect runs in your web browser, so you can schedule and join sessions from anywhere with internet access. You can use the free Securus app, a computer, or a tablet. Pick your go-to device now so you're not scrambling to troubleshoot when a call is already scheduled.
