How to Contact an Inmate at Hilltop Unit, TX (TX)

1. Create your TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler account. You must create it yourself, staff cannot do this step for you.
2. Pick the visit type that fits your situation. The scheduler lists four visit types, including Regular, Contact, and Video/Tablet (and one additional type). Not all visit types will be available for every inmate or visitor.
3. Schedule your visit in the online system. Select the available options the scheduler offers for your relationship and the inmate’s current privileges.
4. Call Hilltop Unit before you leave home. Confirm the inmate is assigned there and that visitation has not been canceled so you do not make a wasted trip.
