How to Set Up Your First Video Visit at Lewis County Jail

Lewis County Jail offers video visits two ways: from your own device over the internet, or at video stations in the jail lobby. Web visits are available daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and cost $0.30 per minute, paid by credit or debit card. No reliable internet at home? The lobby option might work better. Starting May 2022, each inmate gets one free 15-minute lobby visit per week on a first-come, first-served basis. Lobby stations are open Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–11:30 AM and 1:30 PM–3:30 PM, excluding holidays.

  1. Create your HomeWAV account - You’ll need a HomeWAV account before you can sign up for visitation.
  2. Register early and wait for approval - Approvals can take up to 72 hours (not including weekends/holidays), so don’t wait until the day you want to visit.

Web video visits run daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The last visit starts at 9:40 PM, so don't cut it too close if you want a full session.

Assume your visit is monitored. All video visits at Lewis County Jail are recorded, whether you're at home or using the lobby stations.

Warning: If a video visitor (at home or in the lobby) is disruptive, acts inappropriately, or isn’t properly dressed, staff will stop the visit. Future visitation privileges may be revoked.
