Attorney contact visits at Northern Neck Regional Jail must be scheduled at least 24 hours ahead. Call 804-333-6419 and select option 3 to reach a jail representative. Attorney visiting hours run seven days a week: 9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. On-site non-contact attorney visits don't require the 24-hour appointment. You can deposit funds in person at the lobby ATM during daytime hours using cash or credit. Any currency an inmate brings into the jail gets credited to their account for debts and commissary purchases. Sending funds by mail? The jail accepts only money orders, cashier's checks, or certified checks—no cash. One important rule: friends and family can't fund more than one inmate account. Accounts tied to multiple inmates may be frozen. When an inmate is released or transferred, remaining funds are mailed to the inmate or the receiving institution. Alternatively, the inmate can pick up a check during normal business hours.
