Ohio County Jail accepts approved clothing drop-offs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. All clothing must be brand-new and in the original, unopened packaging. No exceptions. The allowed clothing list has specific limits: six pairs of white socks, six pairs of white underwear, and six white t-shirts, along with other approved items. Need to bring prescribed medication? You can drop it off any time, 24/7/365, as long as it's in the original prescription container with an unaltered label and prescribed to the inmate. To visit, you'll need to go through the jail's visitor approval and scheduling process: submit a visitor form, wait for background checks and approval, then schedule through the facility's system.

Ohio County Jail uses CPC (Inmate Sales) for prepaid phone service, video visitation, and Chirp devices. Each new intake receives one free three-minute phone card, so they can place a short call soon after booking. Chirp access isn't immediate: an inmate becomes eligible for a Chirp device after five days in custody. The detention center accepts cash deposits 24/7 and provides a receipt, but only $1, $5, and $10 bills are accepted. The jail charges a $50 booking fee and a $10 daily per diem. Inmates have 30 days after release to begin paying any fees owed. On-site bonding is available around the clock for amounts up to $5,000. To post bond at the facility, you must be at least 21, show a photo ID, and pay in cash. Weekenders are required to pay $18 per day upon arrival. Inmates are also billed at cost for medical care and medications.
