Phillips State Prison allows in-person visits from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays. Before scheduling, you must be an approved visitor—submit the Visitation Request Form to the inmate's facility. Note that some fields on the form require you to be at least 18. Once approved, request your visit through the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) visitation form. Deadlines are strict: weekend requests are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday of that same week, and state-holiday requests by 5:00 PM three days before the holiday. The GDC page also lets you add visitors to an existing appointment or find and cancel a scheduled visit. Visits may be denied if the inmate has disciplinary sanctions in the past 24 months or a sentence prohibiting contact with certain people.
