Where to Mail Letters Now: TDCJ's Digital Mail Processing Center Address
Sending personal mail to someone in TDCJ? The address changed when the system went digital statewide. Here's exactly where to send letters now—and the few exceptions that still go directly to the unit.

Include the incarcerated person's full first and last name along with their TDCJ number - this ensures your mail gets matched to the right person. Some mail still goes directly to the unit - not the Digital Mail Processing Center. Legal mail, media mail, and books, magazines, or packages from verified publishers (including subscriptions) should be addressed to the inmate's assigned unit.
No tablet? Your loved one can still receive mail through the digital system. TDCJ prints black-and-white copies of their correspondence and delivers them that way.
