Where to Mail Letters Now: TDCJ's Digital Mail Processing Center Address

Where to Mail Letters Now: TDCJ's Digital Mail Processing Center Address

Send personal mail, greeting cards, and photos to the TDCJ Digital Mail Processing Center. Include the incarcerated person's full first and last name along with their TDCJ number - this ensures your mail gets matched to the right person. Use this format: Texas Department of Criminal Justice Inmate's Full First and Last Name + TDCJ Number PO Box 660400 Dallas, TX 75266-0400

  • Texas Department of Criminal Justice
  • Dallas, TX 75266-0400

Some mail still goes directly to the unit - not the Digital Mail Processing Center. Legal mail, media mail, and books, magazines, or packages from verified publishers (including subscriptions) should be addressed to the inmate's assigned unit.

No tablet? Your loved one can still receive mail through the digital system. TDCJ prints black-and-white copies of their correspondence and delivers them that way.
