At-Home Video Visits at Rappahannock Regional Jail: Cost, Hours, and Refund Policy
Can't make it to the jail in person? At-home video visits are a solid alternative. Here's what you need to know about hours, cost, and the refund policy at Rappahannock Regional Jail.
At-home video visits are available Monday through Friday only - no weekends. The time windows are 9:00AM–10:45AM and 1:30PM–4:15PM (EST).
Each inmate gets one visit per week, up to 45 minutes. When booking online, the session length shown for your specific slot may differ from that weekly maximum - pay attention to the time displayed for the slot you select.
Reminder: You must be signed in 15 minutes before your scheduled visit start time.
At-home video visits cost $15 for up to 25 minutes. The booking system may show updated pricing or session lengths, so treat what you see at checkout as the final word.
If you need to cancel, you’ll get a full refund when the visit is cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled start time, the refund is 50%.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled visit are not refunded.
You'll need to schedule at-home visits online, and there's a specific window: 24–72 hours before the visit. That means no booking far in advance, and no last-minute reservations either.
