How to Contact an Inmate at SCORE Jail, WA (WA)

1. Create your Securus account and register as a visitor. SCORE requires visitors to register and schedule visits online through Securus.
2. Schedule within the allowed window. Book your visit at least 24 hours in advance and no more than 7 days in the future. Same-day visits are not permitted.
3. Choose the right session length and be ready on time. Internet visits are scheduled in 25-minute increments. Log in early and be ready at the start time, because visits start and end on time and will not be restarted after the start time.

1. Watch for an email if a visit is canceled. If SCORE initiates a lockdown, you will receive an email notice about the cancellation.
2. Know it should not count against the weekly visit. Cancellations due to a SCORE-initiated lockdown will not count as a weekly visit.
3. Reschedule it yourself through Securus. The visit will not be automatically rescheduled, so you’ll need to book a new time online.

• ✓ Plan for outbound-only calls: incoming calls to inmates are not allowed, and inmates place outbound calls using Securus Technologies.
• ✓ Set up a Securus pre-paid phone account if you want to pay for those outbound calls.
• ✓ Use TouchPay to add money to an inmate’s trust account, either at a lobby kiosk, by toll-free phone, or online through TouchPay’s website.

• ✓ Address the envelope with the inmate’s full name and name/ID number.
• ✓ Include your return address on the envelope.
• ✓ Expect mail to be opened and inspected for contraband.
• ✓ If you are sending legal mail, clearly identify it as legal mail between the attorney/court and the inmate, related to the inmate’s current case.

Mail rules can be strict, and they do change. Before sending anything, verify the current addressing format SCORE expects (including how they want the inmate's name and name/ID number written), what items are allowed in personal mail, and how legal mail should be labeled to qualify for the legal-mail exception.
