Special cases: Don’t use the online visiting application if you’re applying for clergy status, or if you’re submitting for a minor visitor when the offender is restricted to “Adult Only.” If you’re not sure whether this applies to you, contact the institutional case manager.
After submission, the institutional case manager reviews your application and Missouri DOC runs a criminal history check. Once a decision is made, the offender is notified of your approval status - and they're responsible for letting you know whether you've been approved.
