After registering, you should receive a confirmation email. If it doesn't arrive, call 866-516-0115. Once registered, you can choose between onsite video visits or remote video visits. Only people on the inmate's approved visitation list may visit, with a maximum of four visitors per inmate. All personal video visits are monitored and recorded, so bring photo ID and follow staff instructions at the kiosk or station.
Leer la guía completaPhone contact at Mobile Metro Jail works through outgoing collect calls placed by the inmate. To complete a call, the inmate needs their assigned PIN plus the last four digits of their Social Security number. All calls are monitored and recorded. Call time can be purchased through the jail's phone system. The jail also offers video visitation with both onsite and remote options. Onsite video visits at Metro Jail are free. In Alabama jails, phone access is typically outgoing only and tied to assigned PINs, and most facilities record calls. For remote video and other remote services, you'll usually need the inmate's booking identifier and a funded account with the facility's approved vendor.
As of Sept. 1, 2023, Mobile Metro Jail's Money Clerks no longer accept money orders for inmate trust account deposits. The jail's site does still show a separate notice reading "MONEY ORDER LIMIT IS $50.00," so the guidance is conflicting. The jail directs families to deposit funds through the InmateCanteen option on its website instead. Online and kiosk deposits are handled by a third-party vendor, so you may need to create an account and pay service fees. Processing times and available payment methods vary by channel. If a deposit fails or a vendor page doesn't work, the jail's guidance is to contact vendor support at ICCSupport@TKC32M.com or use the vendor chat. Inmates can also use kiosks and housing-area tablets to order commissary and send single requests (not inmate-to-inmate messages).
