Sending Messages Through St. Lucie County Jail's Tablet System: How It Works and What It Costs

- Go to GettingOut and start registration - Use the GettingOut website or download the GettingOut mobile app.
- Create your account - On the login screen, choose the option to create a new account and enter the required information.
- Upload your driver’s license photo - During registration, you’ll need to upload a picture of your driver’s license.
- Finish the one-time registration - St. Lucie County Jail requires a one-time registration before you can access visit scheduling, so it’s worth completing this upfront even if you’re focused on messaging right now.
- Open your Contacts tab - This is where you build your contact list.
- Select the facility - Choose “St Lucie FL.”
- Search for the inmate - Enter the inmate ID number or the inmate’s name.
- Add the contact - Select the correct person, then click “Add Contact.”
After adding someone to your contact list, head to the Messages tab, select their name, and type your message. Each message costs $0.25 at St. Lucie County Jail.
