Start with the person's full name and booking ID. The facility requires both on the envelope so staff can match your mail to the right person. Send everything through USPS to the facility's PO Box using this format: Inmate Name, Booking ID Adams County Detention Facility PO Box 5001 Brighton, CO 80601 Don't bring mail to the facility to drop off. The front desk does not accept mail.

For overnight delivery, use USPS Express Mail. Other carriers (FedEx, UPS, etc.) won't route correctly because all mail must go to the Adams County Detention Facility PO Box. Again, the front desk does not accept drop-offs.

You can send photos, but keep it to a small batch. Inmates may receive up to ten photos per mailing, and each photo must be 5×7 inches or smaller.

Printed pages from the internet are allowed, but you're limited to ten pages per mailing.

Books are allowed too. You can send up to two paperback books per mailing.
