How to Mail Photos, Books, and Other Items to Someone at Adams County Detention Facility
Mail rules can feel picky, but once you know the address format and item limits, getting photos, printouts, and books delivered is straightforward. Use the checklist below to avoid unnecessary delays.
Start with the envelope. Adams County Detention Facility requires the incarcerated person's full name and booking ID in the address. Missing either can delay delivery - or stop it entirely. Send all mail through USPS to the facility's PO Box (not a street address): Inmate Name, Booking ID Adams County Detention Facility PO Box 5001 Brighton, CO 80601
Need it there overnight? Use USPS Express Mail. The facility routes all incoming mail through its PO Box for processing, so sticking with USPS keeps things moving smoothly.
Note: The detention front desk will not accept mail drop-offs. Send mail via USPS to the PO Box.
