Virtual Attorney Visits at Adelanto: platforms, required uploads, cancellations, and recording rules

Adelanto offers Virtual Attorney Visitation (VAV) using Microsoft Teams, Webex, Google Meet, and Zoom.

To schedule a virtual legal visit at Adelanto, use ICE's Detention Facility Appointment Scheduler. You'll need an ERO eFile account - if you don't have one yet, register through the ERO eFile registration page first.

Required Attachments

• ✓ Scan of the legal representative’s government-issued identification (uploaded in ERO eFile)
• ✓ Scan of documentation showing the legal representative’s active legal status (for example, a state bar card, attorney license, paralegal license, or similar)
• ✓ Copy of the attorney’s G-28 already on file in ERO eFile (not required for a pre-representational visit)
• ✓ If a legal assistant is the only legal representative joining the call: a letter of authorization on the firm/organization’s letterhead and a scan of the assistant’s identification

Adelanto can cancel or reschedule your VAV appointment after you've submitted it. This happens for safety or security reasons, or to ensure fair access to legal visitation among all attorneys and detainees.
