North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) partners with ViaPath and its subsidiaries to process deposits for state prison facilities. This partnership is what makes web, mobile, phone, and walk-in deposit options available.

One rule catches people off guard: only approved visitors can deposit funds into an offender's account. If you're not on the approved visitor list, your deposit can be rejected even if everything else is correct.

The easiest way to send funds is online through ConnectNetwork.com using a credit or debit card. Already have a ConnectNetwork account? Use the same email and password to sign in and make a deposit.

Prefer to deposit by phone? NCDAC lists two options: AdvancePay at 800-483-8314, and Trust and PIN Debit at 888-428-1845. Both accept credit or debit card payments over the phone.

Need help with a deposit? ViaPath’s toll-free assistance line is 877-650-4249.

You can also deposit cash in person through Western Union. When sending money to a TRUST account this way, use the required payment code: NCDAC TRUST.

Reminder: Walk-in options are available through NCDAC's partnership with ViaPath and its subsidiaries.

To mail a money order for a Trust deposit, make it payable to TouchPay and include a deposit slip. Send it to: TouchPay Holdings, LLC, PO Box 174, Houston, TX 77001-0174. Double-check the payee name and PO Box before mailing to avoid delays.

Mailed money orders typically take up to ten business days to reach the offender's account. TouchPay may process funds sooner, but plan around the ten-business-day window if timing matters.

If you create a GTL/ConnectNetwork Friends and Family account and stop using it, the account can become inactive and subject to forfeiture after 180 consecutive days (effective Dec 28, 2022). Need a refund? Call customer service at 866-516-0115.

Stuck or seeing an error? Call ViaPath’s toll-free assistance line at 877-650-4249 for deposit help.
