Visits at Allegheny County Jail can be canceled for reasons outside your control: incarcerated individual movement, a facility-wide lockdown, or emergency situations. When this happens, your canceled visit doesn't automatically roll over. You'll need to reschedule for a new time.
Example: Social visits were canceled for Sunday, January 25 through Tuesday, January 27, 2026 due to expected winter weather. Attorney visits were not affected.
Confirm Before Leaving
