Starting June 1, 2025, South Carolina is rolling out online visitor registration for Allendale Correctional Facility. Most adults can use the new system, though some visitors will still need to apply on paper.

How to Register for Visits at Allendale Correctional Facility Starting June 1, 2025

As of June 1, 2025, adults 18 and older with a valid South Carolina driver's license can register for visitation online. Got a SC license? Start there. Don't have one? You'll use the paper application instead.

You’ll still need to use a paper visitation application if you’re an adult with an out-of-state driver’s license. The same goes for adults who don’t have an ID or driver’s license and instead use documents like a passport or a U.S. visa.

No computer access? Running into technical issues? Paper applications work just fine. Don't let tech problems keep you from registering.

Minor children must use the paper application - no exceptions. You'll also need to include documents proving the parent or guardian relationship before the child can be approved.

Going the paper route? The inmate needs to send you SCDC Form 19-127 (Request for Visiting Privileges). Fill it out completely - missing information will delay your approval.

  1. Get Form 19-127 from the inmate - only the inmate is authorized to provide the Request for Visiting Privileges form.
  2. Fully complete Form 19-127 - take your time and fill out every section before you send it.
  3. Mail the completed application - send it to: Division of Visitation and Inmate Drug Testing, P.O. Box 212969, Columbia, SC 29221-2969.
