First, verify the person you want to visit is actually at Arapahoe County Detention Center. Video visits only work for people in custody there - the jail can't help you schedule visits for someone at a different facility.

Arapahoe County Detention Facility uses GTL (GettingOut/ConnectNetwork) for video visits and phone calls. Everything - account setup, scheduling, troubleshooting - happens through GTL's system, not a separate jail portal.

You can join a video visit from a phone, tablet, or computer. If one device gives you trouble, try switching - moving from your phone to a laptop often fixes connection issues.

You'll schedule and join your visit through GettingOut/Viapath (GTL), the platform Arapahoe County uses. Sign-in, inmate selection, and time-slot booking all happen there.

Note: People incarcerated at Arapahoe County Detention Facility may have access to GTL's GettingOut tablets for communication, messaging, and other services.

  1. Go to the GettingOut website - This is the Viapath/GTL site used for Arapahoe County Detention Center video visits.
  2. Click “Login” and enter your date of birth - You’ll be prompted for your DOB to confirm you’re over 18.
  3. Click “Login” again to access your account - Enter your login details, or create a new account if you don’t have one yet.

The date-of-birth screen confirms you're over 18 before letting you proceed. Once you pass that check, you can log in or create a new account.

  2. Select the inmate you want to visit - Choose the correct person from the list shown in the system.
