First-Time Visitor Checklist: Everything You Need for Your Avon Park Prison Visit
Your first visit goes smoother when you show up approved, dressed within the rules, and carrying only what the visiting park allows. Use this checklist to avoid the most common reasons people get delayed or turned away.
Before you make the drive, confirm you are actually approved to visit. Wait until the inmate notifies you that your visitation application has been approved. Showing up without approval means you will not get in.
If you are 16 or older, bring a valid photo ID. Keep it simple: you are allowed to bring one photographic identification card into the visiting area.
