Accepted Forms of ID

  • Valid driver’s license from your state of residence
  • Valid state photo identification card from your state of residence
  • Valid military photo identification card (active duty only)

Show up without an accepted photo ID? You won't get in. B.B. Rayburn follows Louisiana DPS&C visitor rules - everyone 18 and older must present photo identification at every visit. There's no talking your way past the check-in desk.

  1. Contact the facility before your visit - if you need ADA accommodations, reach out in advance so staff can tell you what to do at check-in.
  2. Plan to register with staff when you arrive - registration happens before you enter the visiting area, so build in a little extra time if you’ll need assistance.

Note: If you need ADA accommodations for visiting, contact the facility in advance of your visit so you’re not trying to sort it out at the door.
