Sending Money to an Inmate at Barrow County Jail: Mail Money Orders and the Lobby Kiosk
Need to add funds to someone's account at Barrow County Detention Center? You have two options: mail a money order or use the Jail ATM kiosk in the lobby.
Barrow County Detention Center accepts inmate deposits two ways. You can mail a money order to the jail, or you can visit in person and use the Jail ATM kiosk in the lobby. The kiosk takes cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
Money Order Howto
- ✓ Write the inmate’s name and ID number on the money order.
- ✓ Address the envelope exactly like this:
- ✓ Inmate’s name and ID number
- ✓ Barrow County Detention Center
- ✓ 652 Barrow Park Drive
- ✓ Winder, GA 30680
Mail-only rule: Money orders must be sent through the mail. They're also the only form of payment the jail accepts by mail.
Don't include extras: If you put letters or photographs in the same envelope as your money order, everything except the money order will be sent back to you.
Prefer to handle it in person? Barrow County Detention Center has a Jail ATM kiosk right in the lobby. It accepts cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
Fee: The lobby kiosk charges $2.50 for each transaction.
