How to Schedule Your First Video Visit at Bartow County Jail

Bartow County Jail uses the ICSolutions video visitation system for public inmate visits. If you need to register and/or schedule an appointment through ICSolutions, call 1-888-646-9437.

For remote (off-site) video visits, you'll need to pre-register first, then schedule. One rule to keep in mind: everyone participating in the visit must be scheduled at least 24 hours before the appointment time.

Onsite visitation has resumed, but capacity is limited to just a few visitors at a time. That restriction is one reason many families choose off-site video visits instead.

1. Call ICSolutions to get registered - Use 1-888-646-9437 for registration and scheduling help.
2. Pre-register before you try to book a time - You must pre-register first, then you can schedule your visit.
3. Schedule at least 24 hours ahead (for everyone participating) - Make sure every person who will be on the visit is scheduled no later than 24 hours before the appointment time.

The 24-hour rule trips up a lot of people. Bartow County Jail requires everyone participating in a video visit to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance - same-day additions typically won't work.

• ✓ Each inmate is eligible for 3 offsite (video) visits per week.

Keep your expectations realistic: visits are capped at 25 minutes, and staff can cut them short at their discretion.

For onsite appointments, show up 15 minutes early to check in with visitation staff. That buffer keeps you from losing your slot if there's a line or check-in runs long.

For off-site video visits, don't wait until the exact start time to log in. Sign in a few minutes early so you're connected and ready when the session begins.

Watch the clock during your visit. Sessions are capped at 25 minutes and may end sooner at staff discretion. When time's up, your connection will be cut automatically.

1. Test your connection before the day of the visit - If you’re visiting from home, check that your device and connection work before you schedule.
2. Log in early and try connecting again - Sign in a few minutes before the scheduled time and retry if the session doesn’t connect right away.
3. Reschedule if you miss the window - If you can’t get connected in time, plan on booking a new appointment.
