How to Receive Collect Calls from Bay County Jail — Setup, Monitoring, and Number Limits
Inmates at Bay County Jail can't receive incoming calls. They can only place collect calls - and only to numbers that accept them.
To pay for calls, you'll need to set up billing on the phone number receiving them. Bay County Jail directs families to create an account at ConnectNetwork.com and add funds to that number.
- Call the phone provider to start the setup - Contact VIA Path Technologies at 1-877-650-4249 and tell them you need to set up an account to receive inmate collect calls.
- Provide the facility number - When asked, use facility number 15773.
- Add funds to the phone number you’ll answer on - Once your account is created, add money to the receiving phone number so collect calls can be accepted and billed properly.
Expect calls to be monitored and recorded. If you're sharing anything sensitive, keep that in mind - assume someone could review the conversation later.
Warning: Don’t try to transfer the call or add a third person (three-way calling). The call will disconnect, and your number can be suspended.
Each inmate at Bay County Jail can only call five approved phone numbers during their stay. If you're not getting calls, your number might not be on that list yet.
Updating that list isn't easy. Numbers can only be changed once every six months during an enrollment period, and the inmate's classification counselor handles the request.
