Bay County Jail runs video visits through Via Path Technologies' GettingOut system. You can use either the GettingOut website or their mobile app - whichever works better for you.

  1. Go to GettingOut and start a new account - Use the GettingOut website or the mobile app and choose the option to create an account.
  2. Enter your information and upload your ID - During signup, you’ll need to upload a picture of your driver’s license (you can also add a profile picture).
  3. Complete the email verification within 24 hours - GettingOut sends a verification email within 24 hours, and you must finish that step to move forward.
  4. Confirm your phone number - You’ll also receive a phone or text verification to make sure your number is correct.
  • A clear photo of your driver’s license
  • (Optional) A profile picture
  • An email address you can access (you’ll need it for verification within 24 hours)
  • A phone number that can receive a call or text for verification
