Keystone Login & IVS Accounts: How to Get Set Up Before Visiting (PA DOC)
Before you can schedule a visit through the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (PA DOC) Inmate Visitation System (IVS), you'll need to get a couple of accounts set up. Here's what Keystone Login is, who needs an IVS account, how minors are handled, and where to get help if you run into issues.
Keystone Login is the sign-in system PA DOC uses for the Inmate Visitation System (IVS). It verifies your identity so the system can match you to the correct visitor information when you schedule visits. PA DOC also provides an official visitor guide with step-by-step instructions if you want a walk-through of the login process.
To schedule a visit, you need an IVS account. You also have to be on the inmate's authorized visitor list before the system will let you book anything. Age matters here: all visitors 18 and older must create their own IVS account. That includes anyone who was previously listed under a parent or guardian as a minor and has since turned 18.
Note: Minors do not need their own IVS account. Add the minor under the parent or guardian’s IVS account, and make sure a DC-313 is present for any children participating in the visit.
Use an email address you actually check when setting up IVS. The system sends automatic notifications whenever there's a status change to your account or a scheduled visit, so your inbox is where updates will land.
