TDCJ updates their visitation info once daily on weekdays and multiple times on visitation days - so checking Monday isn't the same as checking Saturday morning. Unit-wide cancellations get posted on the TDCJ homepage.

  1. Confirm you’re approved (and set up scheduling if needed) - Verify you’re an approved visitor; if you’re using the TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler, create your own account (staff can’t create it for you).
  2. Check the schedule and cancellations - Confirm the Moore Unit’s visitation schedule and look for any unit-wide cancellation notice on the TDCJ homepage.
  3. Call the unit before you leave - Get final confirmation from the Moore Unit so you don’t drive out on outdated information.
