First, confirm the inmate is actually assigned to Moore Unit and has current visitation privileges. The system updates once daily on weekdays and several times on visitation days, so what you saw yesterday might not match today. Call Moore Unit before you hit the road.

Regular contact visits happen Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you were planning to visit outside that window, adjust your trip before leaving home.

The facility tracks visits using a "visiting cycle" that runs Monday through Sunday. If you are planning around a recent visit, think in full weeks (Monday to Sunday), not calendar dates.

Call Moore Unit and confirm you are approved to visit and listed on the inmate's Visitors List. This single call is the fastest way to avoid a wasted trip, especially if your status changed recently or this is your first time visiting this inmate.

If you are 18 or older, bring a current government-issued photo ID. At least one ID must show your current physical address. Outdated address? Fix it before you travel. This is the kind of issue that stops visits at check-in.
