How to Send Money to Moore Unit (TX)

You can mail a money order or cashier's check with a completed deposit slip. Send it to: Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 60, Huntsville, TX 77342-0060.

Need a deposit slip? Ask the inmate to send you one. You can also request one by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Inmate Trust Fund at PO Box 60 in Huntsville.

Prefer automatic deposits? You can set up a monthly ACH withdrawal from your checking account. Pick a set amount, and it gets pulled on or around the 5th of each month. Funds hit the offender's account around the 10th.

Steps to Follow

• ✓ Get a deposit slip or deposit instructions from the inmate, or request a slip by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 60, Huntsville, TX 77342-0060
• ✓ Prepare your deposit (money order or cashier’s check)
• ✓ Include the completed deposit slip with your deposit
• ✓ Mail it to: Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 60, Huntsville, TX 77342-0060

1. Decide on a monthly amount for a set amount to be automatically debited from your personal checking account and deposited to the offender.
2. Complete the ACH authorization form so TDCJ can set up the monthly debit.
3. Attach a voided check from the checking account that will be debited.
4. Mail the form and voided check to: Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 629, Huntsville, TX 77342-0629.
5. Plan around the timing: the debit occurs on or around the 5th of each month, and the deposit credits to the offender’s account on or around the 10th.

What to Verify

• ✓ Confirm you are using the correct mailing address for what you are sending (PO Box 60 is used for mailed deposits; PO Box 629 is used for submitting the ACH authorization form)
• ✓ Make sure you have the current ACH authorization form
• ✓ Double-check that you included a voided check with the ACH form submission
