Visiting at Bob Wiley Detention Facility happens on weekends. General visiting runs Saturday and Sunday from 8:00–5:00. Pre‑Trial visits have narrower windows: 8:00–11:00 and 1:00–5:00, so plan accordingly. You'll need a current, valid photo ID at check-in. Acceptable IDs include U.S. driver's licenses, U.S. identification cards, active U.S. military IDs, U.S. resident cards, U.S. passports, and U.S. government ID cards. Staff can deny your visit if they believe you pose a security threat or could negatively affect an inmate—or if your ID is expired, photocopied, or issued outside the U.S.

Bob Wiley Detention offers internet video visits every day from 7:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pacific Time. On-site South County visitation hours run 7:45 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Video visits cost $7.50 per 30-minute session and are recorded and monitored—using the system means you consent to that. You must schedule at least one day ahead; facility notices differ on the maximum lead time (one says a week, another says two weeks). Visits are a privilege and can be denied, canceled, or ended for misconduct. Nudity and provocative clothing aren't allowed, and you can't conduct a visit while driving. For on-site visits, check in at least five minutes early and bring required ID for each visitor.
