What Not to Wear and What Not to Bring for Video Visits (Bob Wiley & Tulare County)

For video visits at Bob Wiley Detention Facility, nudity isn’t allowed at any point during the visit. If your camera view includes nudity, the visit can be stopped and you may lose the ability to video visit.

Tight-fitting or provocative clothing won't fly either. Show up dressed this way and you can be barred from both off-site and on-site video visitation. Change before you log in - it's not worth risking a denied visit.

Note: Appearance violations (like nudity or tight/provocative clothing) can lead to an immediate denial or termination of the visit - and can get you barred from video visitation.

Appearing under the influence of alcohol or drugs will get your video visit cancelled. It can also lead to being barred from future visits. Don't log on if you've been drinking or using anything that could make you look impaired.

Keep anything that looks like contraband off camera - drugs, drug paraphernalia, weapons. Same goes for gang signs, symbols, or colors. Any of these can get your visit cancelled and your future visits restricted.

Note: If your video visit raises red flags - like impairment, contraband, or gang-related displays - staff can cancel the visit and restrict future visits.
