After You Submit Your YAP Scholarship Application: What to Expect

After submitting, expect an email with three items: your award letter, the YAP General Release form, and a fillable Endowment Fund Scholarship Information Request form. Check the inbox for the email address you listed on your application - that's where everything gets sent, and you'll need these documents to move forward.

Sign the YAP General Release electronically - e-signatures are accepted. Fill out the Endowment Fund Scholarship Information Request form, then email both documents to Marcia Goss.

Nothing happens until your completed Information Request form arrives. Once received, it goes to Shannon Grove (Treasurer) for processing. No form means no check and no laptop purchase - so don't skip this step.

Practical Tips

  • Watch your email for the award letter, the YAP General Release, and the fillable Scholarship Information Request form.
  • Check your spam/junk folder if you’re expecting the message but don’t see it.
  • Send back the signed General Release and the completed Scholarship Information Request as soon as you can - processing can’t move forward without the information request.
  • If you have questions about where things stand (or how long a step will take), reach out to one of the listed scholarship contacts.
