Visitation runs Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. That 1:00 PM cutoff is firm, so plan your drive accordingly - especially if you're traveling from out of town.
You'll need a valid, government-issued photo ID to check in. Accepted forms include a current state-issued ID or driver's license, a valid passport, an Armed Forces ID card, or a State Department of Public Safety (DPS) ID card. The facility limits who can enter together: two adults and one child, or one adult and two children. Bringing a larger group? Plan to take turns rather than trying to enter all at once.
Bringing kids? The rules are strict. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and children must be supervised at all times.
