Bristol County runs all inmate deposits through Access Corrections. Good news for families: mailed money orders no longer sit on a ten-day hold. Under this system, your money order gets deposited as soon as it arrives at Access Corrections Secure Deposits. That's why you'll see the same company name whether you mail a money order, pay online, use the app, or visit the lobby kiosk.

To send money by mail, you’ll mail your money order deposit to Access Corrections for Bristol County at: Access Corrections – Bristol County, MA, P.O. Box 12486, St. Louis, MO 63132.

  • Keep your mailed deposit within the daily limit of $300.
  • Complete the Access Corrections Money Order Deposit Form and include it with your money order so it can be processed correctly.

Need something faster than mail? Deposit through Access Corrections online or in their app. Since Bristol County uses this system, it's one of the easiest ways to add funds without waiting on postal delivery.

You can also deposit in person at the lobby kiosk inside the Dartmouth House of Correction. It's available from 8AM–4PM, and deposits go directly into the inmate's IMA.

Bring cash: The Dartmouth lobby commissary kiosks do not accept credit or debit cards - only cash is accepted through the kiosks.

Heads-up: The Dartmouth House of Correction doesn't accept mail or parcel drop-offs for inmates. If you're visiting in person, plan on using the kiosk only - send any mail deposits through Access Corrections.

Check everything before you send it. If a money order or check gets returned during processing, you'll be charged a $25 handling fee.

When mailing deposits, use a physical street address if you can. A P.O. Box as your return address can delay processing and will require you to include your driver's license or state ID number.
