Why You Can't Drop Off Mail or Packages During Your Bristol County Visit (and How to Send Mail Properly)

Bristol County doesn't let visitors drop off mail or parcels for inmates. Even if you're already coming in for a visit, don't try to hand letters or items to staff at the front desk. Everything needs to go through regular mail.

Send mail the way the facility requires: use an envelope with proper postage and include your return address on the outside. Missing any of these details can delay delivery or get your mail rejected.

Warning: Incoming inmate mail is searched for contraband. Anything not approved for inmate possession can be confiscated, and serious contraband may be referred to investigators for possible criminal prosecution.

Sending a money order or check? Mail it with the Money Order Deposit Form to: Access Corrections – Bristol County, P.O. Box 12486, St. Louis, MO 63132. Using the form and correct address ensures the deposit gets credited properly.

  • Keep mailed deposits within the daily limit: the deposit amount cannot exceed $300.00 per day.
