Prefer to handle things in person? Brown County Jail has deposit kiosks at both the main jail and the work release facility. Walk in, follow the prompts, and you're done.

For online deposits, Brown County Jail accepts payments through inmatecanteen.com. Double-check you're selecting the right person before submitting - names can look similar, and mistakes are hard to undo.

You can drop off prescription medications at the main jail, but only with medical approval first. Family and friends may bring meds to 3030 Curry Lane - but don't buy, pick up, or drive over until jail medical staff has confirmed they'll accept them.

Brown County Jail also accepts certain medical equipment from family members. Prescription glasses can be dropped off at the main jail (3030 Curry Lane). CPAP machines and oxygen machines are allowed too.

Brown County Jail is strict about where books and magazines come from. Only items purchased through the approved vendor, Hamilton, will be accepted. Books bought elsewhere or sent from home will likely be turned away.

  • Books must be softcover.
  • Inmates are limited to 2 magazines and 3 books in their cell (space limits).

A few content rules can save you a wasted order. UK versions of magazines aren't permitted. Any material considered a security threat - or anything racially derogatory or inflammatory - will be treated as contraband and seized or destroyed.

Important: Brown County Jail does not accept parcel packages for inmates. Parcel packages will be rejected and returned to the sender.
