Weekend and holiday visitation deadlines (Burrus County Transitional Center)

GDC requires visitors to submit requests through its online visit request form. Think of this as a deadline-driven task - especially for weekend or holiday slots, where timing is everything.

For weekend visits, the cutoff is 5:00 PM on Wednesday of the same week. Want to visit Saturday or Sunday? Get your request in before that Wednesday deadline. By Thursday, you've already missed your shot for that weekend.

Holiday visits have a tighter window: 5:00 PM three days before the holiday. Count back on the calendar and treat that 5:00 PM mark as your hard deadline. Submit late, and you'll likely miss out.

Miss the Wednesday 5:00 PM cutoff? You probably won't get a visit that weekend. Same story for holidays - once 5:00 PM hits three days out, that slot is gone. Don't wait until the last minute. Submit early so you have time to catch mistakes before the deadline passes. A typo on your form is frustrating at any time; it's worse when you can't fix it in time.
