What You Can't Bring to Butler County Prison: Money, Property, and Contraband Rules

Staff at Butler County Prison won't accept property, photos, clothing, or money during visitation - unless you've gotten prior approval from the Shift Commander, Warden, or Deputy Warden. Without that approval already in place, expect to be told no.

This goes beyond visitation. The prison doesn't accept personal property at any time. If your loved one needs basics - hygiene items, underclothing, shoes - those must be purchased through the inmate commissary. Family and friends can't drop them off.
