How to Contact an Inmate at Byrd Unit, TX (TX)

The Byrd Unit offers several TDCJ visitation options: Regular visits, Contact visits, and Video/Tablet visits. Note that Video/Tablet visits are separate from the Securus Video program, so double-check you're selecting the right one. Not every visit type is available to everyone. What you can request depends on your relationship to the inmate, how the unit's visitation area is configured, and the inmate's current visitation privileges.
