On-Site vs. Remote Visits at Cache County Jail: Which Should You Choose?
At Cache County Jail, every visit is a video visit. You can come to the jail for an on-site session or connect remotely from home - either way, you'll be using the video visitation system. There are no traditional face-to-face visits.
On-site visits happen at the jail using their video system. Weekday hours are split into two blocks: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am–12:00 pm, then again from 6:30 pm–9:00 pm.
On weekends, on-site visiting hours run longer during the day. Saturday and Sunday are 8:00 am–5:30 pm, with an evening block from 6:30 pm–9:00 pm.
- ✓ Two free on-site visits are allowed per week.
- ✓ Each on-site visiting period is 20 minutes long.
Remote video visits offer more flexibility. They're available every day from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm - no gaps in the schedule.
- ✓ Remote visits are limited to one visiting period per day.
- ✓ You can have up to seven remote visits per week.
Remote visits can also run longer than on-site sessions. At Cache County Jail, expect remote visits to last twenty to forty minutes, depending on how the visiting period is configured.
Heads up on costs: Remote visits have fees, and they're non-refundable. If a visit gets canceled for security or disciplinary reasons, you won't get your money back.
