All visits at Cache County Jail happen through video - both on-site at the jail and remote from home. There are no in-person, face-to-face visits.

Planning an on-site visit? You'll need to schedule at least 24 hours ahead. Cache County Jail handles on-site scheduling through ncic.com, so factor in that extra day when booking your time slot.

What to Expect During Video Visits at Cache County Jail

On-site video visits run Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, then again from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Trying to fit a visit around work or school? The evening block is usually your best bet.

Weekends offer longer hours: Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, plus 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The extended daytime window gives you more flexibility than weekdays.

If your person was just booked in, don't expect to visit right away. Cache County Jail requires inmates to be at the facility for at least three business days before they can receive visits.

ID Age Rules

  • ✓ Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • ✓ Visitors ages 16–17 must present a photo ID (a school ID or similar is accepted)
  • ✓ Visitors 18 and older must present a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport)

Warning: Sexually explicit behavior is prohibited during video visits - this includes nudity, sexually explicit gestures, and explicit conversation. You must be fully clothed. Sexually suggestive clothing, including see-through items, can get your visit ended.
