What to Do If You Haven't Heard Back About Your Louisiana Corrections Exam
If you applied for an OSE regional corrections exam and you’re still waiting on details or results, there are a few specific things to watch for—and a clear point when it’s time to call.
Once your application is accepted, OSE sends your exam instructions by email. The messages you’re looking for come from OSERegionalTesting@la.gov, and the next steps are whatever directions are included in that email - so it’s worth treating anything from that sender as time-sensitive and following it closely.
If your exam date is getting close and you still haven’t received an email from OSERegionalTesting@la.gov, don’t wait until the last minute. If you have not received that email five days prior to the exam date, contact OSE at 225-925-7069.
After you take the test, your grade is sent by email. The typical timeline is about 1–2 weeks after the test date, so if you tested recently, that window can help you decide whether you’re still in the normal wait time or whether it’s time to follow up.
