How Canyon County's Video Visits Work (Free 60 Minutes and Paid Options)

CTel handles all video visitation at Canyon County Jail. Every inmate receives 60 minutes of free video visits each week, which helps you stay connected without paying for every conversation. One catch: those 60 minutes reset weekly. Unused time doesn't roll over, so plan to use it or lose it.

The free 60 minutes cover your inmate's weekly video time. Beyond that, remote video visits cost $0.20 per minute. There's no cap on how many visits an inmate can have - schedule as many as you want, as long as you fund the time beyond the free allotment.

Every visit needs to be scheduled at least two hours ahead. No same-day surprises here. If you're juggling work or school pickup, factor in that two-hour buffer when picking your time slot.
