Fingerprinting at Carroll County Detention Center: Hours, What to Bring, and Cost
Need fingerprints for a background check? Carroll County Detention Center offers fingerprinting on specific days. Here's when to go, what to bring, and what it costs.
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office fingerprints people for pre-employment criminal history background checks. If your job application or licensing process requires fingerprints, this is the service you need.
Fingerprinting happens at the Carroll County Detention Center on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
There's no fee - the Sheriff's Office provides this as a free courtesy service.
Detention Center officers handle the fingerprinting. Show up during the listed hours with your paperwork, and staff will take care of it.
Fingerprinting gets worked in around the jail's regular operations. Officers will help you as soon as they can, but processing procedures inside the facility sometimes cause delays.
Heads up: If there's a longer-than-usual wait, an officer will let you know and may ask you to come back later.
