Visits at Caswell CC are by appointment only - you'll need to call or email to schedule before you go. You also need an approved visitor application on file before any visit can happen. Take the application seriously. Caswell CC won't accept applications submitted by offenders, and incomplete applications get denied. Either issue can stop your visit before it starts.

  1. Schedule the visit - Call or email Caswell CC to set an appointment.
  2. Confirm the day before - Call Caswell CC the day before your scheduled visit to confirm the facility’s visitation status.

  • Approved visitor application on file - a completed application must be approved by Caswell CC staff before any visit can occur.
  • If you’re age 16+ - attach a copy of an approved picture ID to your visitor application.
  • If the visitor is under age 16 - attach a copy of the minor’s birth certificate to the visitor application.

Note: Caswell CC will not accept visitor applications submitted by offenders, and incomplete applications won’t be approved.

Caswell CC strictly enforces the visitation dress code. Keep it simple and conservative, and make sure you have both a shirt and shoes - those are required for all visitors.

  • Halter tops
  • Bare midriffs
  • Strapless tops
  • Tube tops
  • Underwear-type T-shirts
  • Tank tops
  • Any see-through clothing

If you're 16 or older, expect to be searched before entering. Caswell CC conducts a pat/frisk search and an electronic device scan for all visitors 16+. Plan your outfit and what you carry with that screening in mind.

Contraband warning: Cell phones are considered contraband and are prohibited at Caswell CC.

Leave your phone at home or locked in your car - cell phones are contraband. Give yourself extra time for screening and check-in. And remember: you can't just show up. Visits are by appointment only.
