How to Schedule a Two-Day Visit at Central New Mexico Correctional Facility (CNMCF)
Traveling a long way to visit someone at CNMCF? The facility offers a two-day visit option that lets you schedule two consecutive visits. Here's how it works and how to plan it without losing a day to scheduling rules.
To use the two-day visit option at Central New Mexico Correctional Facility (CNMCF), you must already be on the incarcerated person's approved visitation list. Not approved yet? You'll need to get on the list first before scheduling either day.
This option exists for people traveling long distances. Instead of cramming everything into one day, you can request two in-person visits: two hours on day one and two hours on day two.
CNMCF schedules in-person visits in set two-hour blocks: 8:00–10:00, 10:00–12:00, or 1:00–3:00. Visits happen Monday through Friday only and must be scheduled at least one week in advance, so plan ahead.
Note: CNMCF does not hold visitation on weekends. The facility does have visitation on most holidays, so double-check your timing if you are planning a trip around a holiday.
Your two-day visit must fall on consecutive weekdays. Think Monday and Tuesday, or Tuesday and Wednesday. Plan your travel around these pairs so you don't accidentally split the visit across a gap.
The same visitors must attend both days. If you're coordinating with other family members, finalize your group before scheduling. Swapping who attends on day two doesn't fit the two-day visit rules.

Tip: Since CNMCF does not offer weekend visitation, plan for weekday travel and, if needed, lodging between your two consecutive visit days.
