Chippewa Valley (CVCTF) In-Person Visiting Hours and Visit Limits
Planning a visit at Chippewa Valley Correctional Treatment Facility (CVCTF)? Here's the schedule, visit lengths, and limits you need to know.
CVCTF in-person visiting hours on Friday are 2:45pm–9:00pm.
CVCTF in-person visiting hours on Saturday are 8:00am–8:00pm.
CVCTF in-person visiting hours on Sunday are 8:00am–6:00pm.
Holiday visiting hours at CVCTF are 9:00am–3:00pm. One exception: these holiday hours don't apply when the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday.
Each person in custody (PIOC) can have up to two in-person visits per day. If you're juggling work, childcare, or travel, keep this limit in mind when picking time slots.
There's also a weekly cap: six in-person visits per PIOC, maximum. The week runs Monday through Sunday - so your count resets each Monday, not after seven days from your last visit.
Plan your week, not just one day: A PIOC can have two visits in a single day, but the weekly max is still six (Monday–Sunday). Since visits are scheduled in two-hour slots, map out which days you'll use so you don't hit the cap unexpectedly.
Visits are scheduled every two hours, but actual visit time is 1 hour and 50 minutes. The extra 10 minutes in each slot is for cleaning and disinfecting between visits - so don't be surprised if your visit ends a bit before the next slot begins.
You can arrive up to 10 minutes before your scheduled visit. Use that window to get through entrance screening without cutting into your actual visit time.
Note: Entrance screening is part of check-in. Arrive early so you're not rushing at the door.
Before scheduling a visit, you must be on the PIOC's approved visiting list. That means completing a Visitor Questionnaire (DOC-21AA) and getting approved first.
- Establish an ICSolutions account (or update your existing one) - scheduling is handled through that system.
- Add your unique Party ID to your account - CVCTF requires your account to include your Party ID in order to visit in-person (and by phone).
- Schedule your visit - once your account is set up with your Party ID, you can choose an available time slot.
Reminder: Get approved before you try to schedule. Once you're on the DOC-21AA list, remember the limits: up to two visits per day, six per week (Monday–Sunday).
