TDCJ's free Monthly Checking Account Debit (ACH) service automatically pulls a set amount from your checking account once a month and deposits it to a specified offender. It's built for steady, recurring support - no need to remember a new deposit every month.
The debit runs on or around the 5th of each month. If your budget is tight, make sure those funds are in your checking account before that date.
The credit posts to the offender's account around the 10th. That five-day gap is normal - don't worry if it doesn't show up right away.
Documents to Enroll
- ✓ A completed TDCJ ACH authorization form
- ✓ A voided check for the checking account that will be debited
Mail your completed ACH authorization form and the voided check to: Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 629, Huntsville, Texas 77342-0629.
Need to change or stop the monthly debit? Your request has to arrive before the next cycle kicks off. TDCJ requires stop/change requests 3–5 business days before the 5th, so send your paperwork early.
