TDCJ's monthly ACH option pulls a set amount from your checking account once a month and deposits it into the inmate's trust account. The debit usually hits around the 5th, with funds showing up in the inmate's account around the 10th. Those dates are approximate - give it a few extra days before worrying that something went wrong.

Documents

  • Completed ACH authorization form
  • A voided check for the checking account that will be debited (attach it to the form)
  • Make sure your sender name and address are included as required when making a deposit to an offender’s account

Fill out the ACH authorization form, attach a voided check, and mail everything to: Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 629, Huntsville, Texas 77342-0629.

Need to change the amount, switch bank accounts, or cancel? Submit an ACH stop/change form to the Inmate Trust Fund. Don't wait until the last minute - TDCJ needs your request 3–5 business days before the 5th of the month to stop that month's debit.
