Before Your First Visit to Clark County Jail (CCDC): What to Bring and What to Leave Behind
Visiting someone at Clark County Detention Center (CCDC) goes smoothly when you show up registered, dressed right, and carrying valid ID. Here's your facility-specific prep list so you don't get turned away at the door.
Before you go, register to visit CCDC - you can do this online or in person at 330 South Casino Center Blvd. Bring proper identification; everyone over age 13 needs to show ID at check-in. Keep your group to three visitors total - no exceptions. Kids must stay with an adult the entire time. Leave your cell phone put away during visitation, since using it can end your visit early. And don't take chances with the dress code. If you don't comply, you'll be denied entry.
Registration is required before you can visit anyone at CCDC. You can register online or in person at Clark County Detention Center, 330 South Casino Center Blvd.
- ✓ Valid government-issued photo ID (required for registration)
- ✓ Email address (required for registration)
- ✓ Current photo of yourself (required for registration)
- ✓ Proper identification for each visitor over 13 at check-in
Online registration is available 24 hours a day - handle it whenever you have a minute. Prefer to register in person? CCDC accepts walk-ins daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
On weekdays (Monday through Friday), social visiting runs in two windows: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Weekends offer more flexibility. Saturday and Sunday visiting hours are 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Plan your group carefully: CCDC allows three visitors total per visit, no exceptions. Minors can visit but must be accompanied by an adult. Even when you do everything right, visits can still be delayed or denied. The start of visiting hours may be pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances, and visiting privileges depend on the inmate's housing assignment and behavior. Space limitations, staffing, classification, or disciplinary actions can also restrict visits. There's no visitation during mealtimes, lock downs, or inmate count.
